IMPORT MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF NUCLEAR POWER WASTE from EUROPE to BURN, MELT, TRANSPORT, and DUMP in the US!
EnergySolutions (ES), proposes to import 20,000 tons of radioactively contaminated material from nuclear facilities in Italy. The material from nuclear power and other facilities would be processed in Tenessee for "recycling" or disposal locally or at the EnergySolutions' Clive, Utah, disposal site. The imported material that did not meet the acceptance criteria of the Clive facility would be exported back to Italy. EnergySolutions submitted an import application and an export application that were noticed in the Federal Register on February 11, 2008.
